# Set Tag Action

This action will attach a new tag to the user profile. Tags can be used to later identify the user as well as redirect a conversation flow using switches.

### Settings

The action uses the following settings:

| Tag Name | The name of the tag to be created. | :white\_check\_mark:                                 |

### Remarks

If the tag already exists no action is taken.

This action has no triggers.

### Variables

This action does not produce any variable.

Channel specific availability follows the table below:
