# Postback Button Action

This button will postback to Xenioo to activate one or more operations. Use this button to move the conversation flow to other interactions on user click.

### Remarks <a href="#remarks" id="remarks"></a>

Under the context menu, this action will work exactly like the typical [Quick Reply Button Action](https://docs.xenioo.com/actions-and-operations/content/xenioo.bots.actions.base.buttonaction).

This action supports an additional Style Action that can be used to extend the look & feel of the button on platform that support styling.

### Trigger <a href="#trigger" id="trigger"></a>

Click. This action will trigger any child operation as the user clicks the button.

### Variables <a href="#variables" id="variables"></a>

This action produces the following variables after being triggered:

| Variable            | Description                                                                                                        |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| last\_command       | The full text of the button being triggered                                                                        |
| last\_user\_message | The text that triggered the button. Depending on expressions, it may not be entirely identical to the button text. |

Every [entity](https://docs.xenioo.com/ai/nlp/entities) specified in the detected [expression ](https://docs.xenioo.com/ai/nlp/expressions)will be translated to a runtime variable named after the entity name.
